The New York Ceramics Fair lecture series is expanding to 16
lectures, to be offered during the fair's four-day presentation at
the National Academy of Design, New York, N.Y., January 18-21, 2001.
During the fair's premier presentation in January 2000, this series
of lectures - ranging from consideration of major Wedgwood designers
to a lecture demonstration by a contemporary Japanese potter – was
attended by more than 1000 show visitors. Lectures will be
illustrated by slides and, in some instances, with specific examples
of the materials discussed. Seating is limited and reservations are
required.
