Nextech Materials Announces New Development Projects

NexTech Materials, Ltd. has been awarded several new private and governmental development contracts. The U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation, NASA and the Ohio Department of Development have all awarded new projects, and NexTech has furthered commercial development and supply relationships with companies including SOFCo, Franklin Fuel Cells and Pittsburgh Electric Engines, among others. The projects will fuel developments in solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) materials, planar cells and tubular components, and enhance efforts in catalyst and piezoelectric materials. Specifically, the new contracts will accelerate NexTech's efforts in fabricating high power density fuel cells, anode- and electrolyte-supported planar cells, and cathode-supported tubular cells and elements.
