The National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) will host a
symposium Nov. 28-29, 2000, at the U.S. Department of Commerce
auditorium in Washington, D.C., to explore the building community's
position on the adoption, application and administration of
comprehensive national building codes and standards. The symposium,
funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), will
include presentations by invited speakers who are representative of
building community sectors that are affected by the regulatory
process, including federal agencies.
