The kits help improve building energy performance while generating credits as specified in the LEED for Existing Buildings Rating System.

Onset Computer Corp.’s new HOBO LEED Monitoring Kits are designed to help improve building energy performance while generating credits as specified in the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Existing Buildings Rating System. The easy-to-use kits enable users to quickly and easily measure and document boiler/solar hot water heater performance, rooftop HVAC system efficiency and indoor environmental quality.

“The ability to accurately measure and document systems performance in existing buildings has become an increasingly important aspect of the LEED-EB accreditation process,” said Frank Deshaies, product marketing manager for Onset. “At the same time, people need continuously-recorded baseline data to understand how, for example, an HVAC unit is performing over time in order to make energy improvements. The new HOBO LEED Monitoring Kits are extremely affordable, easy-to-use solutions that address both of these needs.”

Each LEED Monitoring Kit includes HOBO data logger hardware, HOBOware® Lite graphing and analysis software, and associated sensors. Visit www.onsetcomp.com/leed for more information.
