Orton now offers the capability to determine thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity by laser flash and specific heat capacity by DSC.
The Edward Orton Jr. Ceramic Foundation recently announced that it now offers the thermal analysis capability to determine thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity by laser flash (ASTM E 1461) and specific heat capacity by differential scanning calorimeter (ASTM E 1269). The thermal analysis of ceramics, glasses, refractories, metals, carbon, graphite, polymers, semiconductors, composites, and natural materials can be conducted from room temperature to 1600°C in air, vacuum, or inert gases.
