The Plinth Gallery is gearing up for the fourth annual Denver Arts Week.
With Denver Arts Week just around the corner, the Plinth Gallery in Denver, Colo., is gearing up for a number of special events. A new exhibition by ceramic artist Donna Polseno will open on November 5 to kick off the occasion. Polseno, who is internationally known for her tranquil, classic ceramic vessels, has earned two national artist grants to date. "A Meandering Path" will be her first exhibit in Denver, and the Plinth Gallery will be holding special hours from 5 to 10 p.m. for the opening of the exhibition. Polseno's work will be on display until November 27.
Other Denver Arts Week events will include a VIP Limo Tour of Denver's River North Art District and new pricing specials at the Plinth. On the Limo Tour, couples who reserve a pair of seats will be able to relax in the back of a 1930s Rolls Royce touring sedan as it cruises the arts district and stops at all the hot spots - including the Plinth Gallery. At the Plinth, a handful of pieces will be priced at $52.80 (in honor of the Mile High City), and new pieces from Jennifer Allen, Paul Barchilon, and Jonathan Kaplan will be on display.
