Rath Performance Fibers, Inc. has acquired Magindag Isotech GmbH,
Gennewitz, Germany. The acquisition expands Rath's line of high
temperature refractory materials and high quality ceramic fibers to
include a wide range of insulating fire bricks. "We are now in a
position to offer ceramic fibers and lightweight refractory brick
insulation from our own production," said Dr. Ernst Rath, chairman of
the board. The acquisition strengthens the Rath Group's position in
the European and North American markets with worldwide sales of over
$65 million. Rath Performance fibers is a Thermal Source Superior
Supplier(TM).
