Scott Bartkowski has been promoted to president of Refractron Technologies Corp. He joined the company in 2001 as a research and development engineer and was promoted to manager of structural ceramics, vice president of operations and general manager before assuming the presidency. Bartkowski earned a bachelor's and master's degree in ceramic engineering from Alfred University and an master's degree in business administration from West Virginia Wesleyan College. Before joining Refractron, he was with Corhart Refractories in West Virginia.
