Zao Pkf Voronezhskij Keramicheskij Zadov, Russia, has selected Sacmi to implement its plant modernization. Complete lines are being installed for the production of granito, single-firing glazed floor tiles and double-firing glazed wall tiles. The stoneware and single-firing lines will achieve a total output of around 12,000 square meters per day. The order includes discontinuous mills, spray driers, presses, driers, single-channel kilns and laboratories. The machines used on the stoneware line will allow the company to produce not only salt-and-pepper tiles but also streaked, full-body patterns. Output capacity on the double-firing line will be approximately 12,000 square meters per day, and the line will include presses, driers, twin-channel kilns and sorting units.
