At the end of April 2003, the Ceramic Industries Group successfully started up its latest plant. The Pegasus factory, with an output of 24,000 m2/day, has significantly reinforced Ceramic Industries' strong position in South Africa. Sacmi has supplied all the key machines, including an MTC088 mill, featuring 100% sintered alumina grinding media; an ATM110 spray drier; two FMS2850 kilns, which are over 140 m long; innovative, wide-clearance PH3020 presses; and multi-level ECP307 dryers.
