Sacmi to Supply New Production Lines for Saudi Ceramic

April 6, 2004
During the next four months, Sacmi will supply Saudi Ceramic with two new lines for the production of small and large tiles.

During the next four months, Sacmi will supply Saudi Ceramic, Saudi Arabia's biggest tile producer, with two new lines for the production of small and large tiles (3000 and 20,000 square meters per day, respectively). These new plants will boost the company's overall output capacity to 40,000 m(2) per day. The choice of machines was dictated by a need for modern, specific plant engineering solutions. The units being supplied include a MTC070 continuous mill, a PH1000 press, three PH2090 presses, two PH4800 presses, two FMS2850 kilns and a Twin Press decoration system. Saudi Ceramic aims to use this investment to reinforce its standing on the Saudi market through greater diversification of aesthetics and product type.
