Sama Maschinenbau, a member of the Sacmi Group, has launched the LPP 1S-38 isostatic press, the latest addition to the LPP-1-38 and LPP-2-38 ranges. Features include plungers in spheroidal cast iron castings and pre-pressured columns, which reduce elongation during pressing. In addition, the new unit is less bulky than previous versions.
The LPP 1S-38’s modular structure allows two pressing heads to share one electric control panel while functioning independently. The machine incorporates significant hydraulics modifications, which can increase the system’s efficiency by eliminating risks associated with hydraulic oil contamination. The press itself can function more rapidly due to a new model of filling valves. In addition, the setting and adjusting of the function parameters have been simplified through the use of proportional control valves in all of the machine's circuits.
