Setaram Inc. recently announced the introduction of a complete new line of thermal analysis systems. The design of the EVO line was developed by one of Europe’s leading design houses and allows the integration of different sensors, including DSC, TGA, DTA, STA and MicroDSC. The new CALISTO software features peak deconvolution capability, as well as the treatment and modification of curves that have been placed in Word or PowerPoint for publication optimization.
The line of instruments includes a host of technical innovations, including a new symmetrical TGA that delivers sensitivity and stability up to 1600°C. Additionally, a new 3-D sensor has been developed specifically for Cp measurement and provides precision of better than 2% (a big jump from the 10-15% typically offered).
