SGCD to Host Lead Reporting Compliance Workshop

May 15, 2001
The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators (SGCD) will host EPA Lead Reporting Compliance for Glass/Ceramic Decorators on June 22, 2001, in Baltimore, Md.

The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators (SGCD) will host EPA Lead Reporting Compliance for Glass/Ceramic Decorators on June 22, 2001, at the Embassy Suites Hotel at BWI Airport, Baltimore, Md. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently endorsed changes to the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting requirements for lead, which require all companies that use more than 100 lbs. of lead in a year to trace and report that usage to the EPA, including any emissions. SGCD members experienced with TRI reporting will answer questions including "Am I required to file a TRI report and what happens if my reporting is not accurate," "How do I account for varying lead content levels when reporting usage of different colors," and "How can I develop a system to simplify TRI recording to minimize paperwork in the future?"
