Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has appointed Kimberly Abramo, Ph.D.
product manager for its line of spectroscopy instruments in North
America. She will assume complete tactical marketing responsibility
for the company's line of UV-Vis-NIR, fluorescence and FTIR
instrumentation and accessories. She joined the company in 1998 as
technical support specialist for spectroscopy and assumed product
coordinator responsibility in 1999. Abramo received her Ph.D. in
analytical chemistry and toxicology from Duke University.
