The Spectrum Awards and Prism Awards, international competitions for
excellence in ceramic tile and natural stone, have increased their
grand prizes to $10,000 in cash for each contest, up from $2,500 in
2000. First place winners in each competition will now earn $2,500 in
cash, while each recipient of the Award of Merit will take home
$,1500 in cash. Winners will be announced at Coverings 2001 in New
Orleans, La., May 21-23.
