Superconductive Components Names Borel President And CEO

Superconductive Components, Inc. has appointed Robert J. Borel president and chief executive officer. Also elected to the company's board of directors, Borel succeeds Dr. Edward R. Funk, Sc.D., founder of the company, who will remain chairman of the board and actively involved regarding technology issues. "We are delighted to have such a capable and experienced professional assume the leadership of our company," said Funk. "I look forward to my duties in the technology arena and in corporate governance." Borel commented, "I believe that SCCI is well positioned for significant growth in the high value multi-component ceramic materials and device industry. Our strategy and business plan for 2001 is expected to provide a sound platform for improved performance over the next several years."
