Superconductive Components, Inc. has appointed Robert J. Borel
president and chief executive officer. Also elected to the company's
board of directors, Borel succeeds Dr. Edward R. Funk, Sc.D., founder
of the company, who will remain chairman of the board and actively
involved regarding technology issues. "We are delighted to have such
a capable and experienced professional assume the leadership of our
