As a consumer, are you willing to pay more for "green" products?
In last week’s CI CyberNews
CyberPoll, we asked readers if they are willing, as consumers, to pay more for “green” products. Slightly more than half (53.33%) of respondents answered no, while 23.33% answered yes and the same number (23.33%) indicated that they are sometimes willing to pay more.
Reader comments included:
“I will pay more if it is a better product, but not just because it is ‘green.’”
“Most green products are not really green anyway, just ‘politicaly correct.’”
“We have a choice of paying for it on the front end or the back end; most times it is cheaper to pay for on the front end.”
“As long as they are truly green and not a result of a greenwashing campaign.”
