To the Rescue

May 19, 2011
CERF+ attempts to help artists who were affected by the tornado outbreak.

In late April 2011, violent tornadoes caused wreckage and devastation across the southern U.S., but the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) is providing assistance to craft artists in the area. In an attempt to reach out to the community, CERF+ has sent emails to arts organizations, studios, and individual artists who reside in Alabama and the surrounding states. Director of Programs Craig Nutt has also visited the disaster area. CERF+'s artist emergency resources include grants, loans, materials discounts, and consultation services.
