PSM Acquires Alloy Technology International

Pacific Sintered Metals (PSM) recently announced that it has acquired the assets of Alloy Technology International, Inc. (ATI). ATI was formed in the 1950s to commercialize the manufacturing of Ferro-Tic(R) machinable carbides. Recent sales exceeded $6 million annually, and ATI regularly shipped its products to over 500 customers worldwide. "This will enhance our Superwear product line," said Craig Paullin, president of PSM. "We will transfer all of our Superwear customers and manufacturing processes to our new New York facility." Tim Vela and Tim Robisch have joined the Superwear division as general manager and sales manager, respectively. Both have 25 years of experience in the engineering, production and sales of Ferro-Tic products.
