Pyrometer Instrument Co. recently introduced the Pyrofiber(R), a lab model, non-contact, automatic emissivity correcting IR thermometer specially designed for high-speed data collection and analysis. Pyrofiber lab model microprocessor control can measure temperature values at a 1 ms data acquisition rate, allowing digital signals to be outputted as fast as 40 readings per second. The unit provides users with complete temperature information. Target temperature, true target temperature (automatically corrected for emisisivity) and emissivity values can be outputted via analog or digital signal to a PC or network mainframe for analysis.
