Quest Technologies will hold an educational seminar on occupational vibration in Chicago, Ill., February 4, 2004. The seminar will address both hand-arm and whole body vibration, as well as how to identify, measure and mitigate the problems that can be caused by occupational vibration. It is estimated that 10 million people in the U.S. are routinely exposed to hand-arm vibration from pneumatic, electric, hydraulic and gas-powered hand tools and/or whole-body vibration from forklifts, trucks, buses, tanks, ships, trains and excavation equipment.
