The "Extruded Products" symposium organized by Sacmi Moscow in Russia on September 9 generated considerable interest from the 23 attendees. Representing 13 Russian companies, those present included producers of both extruded products and pressed tiles. The main speakers were Eugenio Ferragina, manager of Sacmi's extruded products sector, and Vanni Trantini, the company's area manager. The initial welcome speech was given by Michele Pulpito, manager of Sacmi Moscow. The main topics of the symposium included the worldwide presence of the Sacmi Group; types of flooring and roofing tile products, as well as the technology used to produce those products; market evolution; Sacmi's products for the extruded tile market; and a presentation on El-Aguila, a modern, technological line of roofing tiles.
