Refractron Technologies Corp. offers a wide range of advanced engineered ceramic products. Capabilities include porous and dense-structured ceramics designed to meet customers' needs. Refractron products are designed for durability, chemical corrosion resistance, toughness, permeability and pore size distribution. Available materials include zirconia and alumina based material, Mg-PSZ, Y-TZP, alumina, ZTA and Ce-TZP. Dense ceramic products use the company's proprietary Xylon zirconia and alumina powders. Fabrication processes rely primarily on extrusion, isopressing, green machining, sintering and hot isopressing.
