Refractron: Zirconia For Dental Applications

Refractron Technologies Corp. has expanded its growing line of advanced engineered ceramics to include ZrTRON™, proprietary transformation toughened zirconias (TTZs) for use in dental restorations. Compositions include magnesia-partially stabilized zirconia (Mg-PSZ), HIPed yttria-tetragonal zirconia polycrystals (Y-TZP) and pre-sintered Y-TZP. The materials are manufactured in shapes and sizes for all CAD/CAM machining and grinding systems used in dental labs and offices. TTZ applications include dental prostheses, such as caps, crowns, inlays and outlays.
