Resco Products, Inc. recently announced that it has acquired Shenango Advanced Ceramics, LLC from the interest holders of the partnership. “The acquisition of Shenango Advanced Ceramics will complement the current product offerings from Resco’s New Castle Refractories operations, which Resco acquired in December 2006,” said William K. Brown, Resco’s president and CEO. “Shenango has a reputation for product quality, responsiveness to customers’ needs and timely delivery of product, and Resco intends to continue this tradition.”

In a letter to Shenango employees, Shenango President Mike Atkins said, “Over the past five months, I have gotten to know many of Resco’s leaders, and I believe they have the resources and desire to take Shenango toward an exciting and prosperous future.”
