Retsch, Inc. recently launched its new sieving software, EasySieve. As its name indicates, the software supports routine sieve analyses and is intuitive and easy to use. EasySieve features direct communication with all well known analytical balances and features direct transfer of weighing data, a tabular or graphical format for the results, and a user-friendly interface for the control of the sieve shaker AS 200 control. The resulting data is compatible with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, or can be exported as an ASCII file. The fully automated registration, evaluation and management of data with EasySieve not only excludes manual errors, but also reduces the processing time by at least 10 minutes per sample. The results are represented as a cumulative or density distribution in various standard grids.
