Retsch, Inc. opened its U.S. facility in Irvine, Calif., on January 1, 2001. The company's product line includes a large variety of grinders and crushers, sieving apparatuses and sample dividers. The main focus of the new office is on providing first-hand expertise and support to U.S. customers and distributors. To achieve this goal, the new facility includes a fully equipped application laboratory in which customer samples are processed free of charge in order to recommend the most suitable instrument for the various preparation tasks. In addition, a special stock of demonstration equipment is available for on-site testing. Additional advantages include direct access to the modern production premises, resulting in particularly short delivery times.
