Rheodyne, L.P. recently announced the introduction of a nanoscale sample injector for instrument manufacturers. The company's new two-position, four-port motorized injector contains an internal 10 nL sample loop and features 0.10 mm (0.004 in.) diameter internal passages. The company's new nanoscale platform, the model 7984, improves on its micro fluidic technology. The 5000 psi platform incorporates the company's proprietary DuraLife(TM) processed stator to offer OEMs greatly extended valve lifetime. The nano-injector, with its optional driver/controller board, will shorten manufacturers' product development cycles.
