Rheometric Scientific recently announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Shimadzu Corp. Under the terms of the agreement, Rheometric Scientific will market and distribute all of Shimadzu's thermal analysis products in Europe on an exclusive basis. Shimadzu's product line includes differential scanning calorimeters (DSCs), differential thermal analyzers (DTA-TGs), thermomechanical analyzers (TMAs) and automatic systems. "This new alliance with Shimadzu allows Rheometric Scientific to broaden its existing product range in thermal analysis instrumentation," said Manfred Herzog, managing director of Rheometric's European operations. "We are pleased to have forged this relationship with such a well-respected company and we look forward to providing customers with a broader range of products for their laboratory needs."
