In addition to innovative kiln systems, Riedhammer GmbH is also increasingly offering solutions for complete lines -- from preparation to thermal pre-treatment to shaping to the firing unit to exhaust processing, including all necessary handling systems. Riedhammer will showcase some of these innovations in Hall 5, Stand 047 at Tecnargilla, October 1-5 in Rimini, Italy. One new firing system for shuttle kilns offers advantages such as a special arrangement of burners and support burners that can be individually controlled, permitting much better temperature balance in the kiln. This means shorter kiln times and the ability to increase the weekly number of firings. Other benefits include much lower energy consumption, improved glazing, longer life for kiln furniture, more flexible setting and the avoidance of droppers in the bottom setting decks.
