Ross recently announced that it now builds three laboratory and pilot plant mills in 2 1/2 x 5, 4 x 8 and 5 x 12 in. sizes. The smallest model is offered for bench-top mounting, while the other two models are stand alone designs for floor mounting. Ross mills are all available with steel or stainless steel rolls. The rolls are also offered with special carbide coatings for applications in the electronics industries. All models include coring of the rolls for precise temperature control during the milling process. Manually operating roll settings are standard, while custom hydraulic controls and readouts are available for special needs.
