Giulio Cicognani, formerly general manager of Sacmi Imola, has passed the baton to Eugenio Emiliani, manager of the Ceramics & Tiles Division. Cicognani has gone on to grasp the reins of the entire group by becoming managing director of the Holding Hps. Cicognani will largely be concentrating on development strategies for both the group as a whole and the holding company, which controls 38 enterprises. He will also play a supervisory role in close collaboration with the recently nominated board of directors of Sacmi Imola, chaired by Domenico Olivieri. Emiliani will have the task of continuing to reinforce and develop Sacmi Imola's core business areas, still the group's most important source of income.
