Sacmi recently announced that its machines are currently being delivered and installed at Nuovo Corso (formerly Dual) in Carpineti (Reggio Emilia), Italy. Reportedly the first Italian plant to produce extruded ventilated facades, the factory is scheduled to come online in mid-2010. The facility will have an output capacity of around 1500 m2 of product per day-the equivalent in large-sized flooring tiles (up to 1200 x 3000 mm).

Extruded ventilated facades offer an extensive decoration range. In addition, the plant includes two five-layer rapid roller driers, two roller kilns, a finishing and squaring station, and a fully automated palletization line.
