Sacmi recently announced that its machines are currently being delivered
and installed at Nuovo Corso (formerly Dual) in Carpineti (Reggio Emilia), Italy.
Reportedly the first Italian plant to produce extruded ventilated facades, the factory
is scheduled to come online in mid-2010. The facility will have an output
capacity of around 1500 m2 of product per day-the equivalent in
large-sized flooring tiles (up to 1200 x 3000 mm).
Extruded ventilated
facades offer an extensive decoration range. In addition, the plant includes
two five-layer rapid roller driers, two roller kilns, a finishing and squaring
station, and a fully automated palletization line.
