Sacmi Sassuolo Announces Name Change

Sacmi Sassuolo has changed its name to Sacmi Molds & Dies. The decision was largely induced by the growing international nature of the enterprise, which, in 2001, saw the inauguration of its third foreign branch in Indonesia following extensive experience in the U.S. and Mexico. In several countries around the world this new name is already well known, as it is used to identify mold overhaul workshops that provide close support to ceramic companies. In-country workshops and plants, in fact, have proved to be extremely effective as they allow all kinds of molds (even non-Sacmi molds) to be overhauled rapidly by specialized technicians, a solution that reduces the costs and waiting times usually associated with complicated export and re-import procedures. Additionally, Sacmi Molds & Dies recently obtained ISO 9001 certification, received at the same time as the name change.
