Keramin Joint Stock Co. of Minsk, Belarus, has enjoyed a solid industrial partnership with Sacmi for over 15 years. Sacmi’s latest delivery of cutting-edge equipment consists of a line designed to produce large (600 x 600, 600 x 900 and 600 x 1200 mm) technical and glazed granito. This latest investment was the result of Keramin’s decision to launch itself into the ventilated facade market, especially with regard to the 600 x 1200 mm size.
The order includes two high-tonnage presses. The first, a PH 3800, represents the intermediate model of the Sacmi range in terms of tonnage and combines inter-column clearance of 2450 mm with a compact machine body. The second press is the more powerful PH 6200, which is reportedly ideal for managing large sizes and ensuring high output rates.
The presses are used in conjunction with an automatic EVA 784 vertical dryer that features 21 baskets that are 1350 mm deep. The dryer has an effective width of 2300 mm and an installed power of 1,750,000 Kcal/h. Completing the order is an FMP single-layer roller kiln (295 x 109.2 m) and a sorting line.
