The Khan Asparuh Group, reportedly Bulgaria's biggest tile manufacturer, recently expanded its operations with a new Sacmi-supplied floor tile production plant at its Isperih-based factories. Already up and running, the new plant is expected to boost output by 2.5 million square meters per year. In addition, another Sacmi-made plant for the production of porcelain tiles will come on line in September of this year. By the end of 2005, these new production lines will raise the group's total output to 50,000 square meters per day and provide Khan Asparuh with a comprehensive product range, from 3 x 3 cm mosaic to 40 x 40 cm porcelain tile and third-fire articles.
