Pietro Cassani has been appointed general manager of Sacmi Whiteware. A graduate in mechanical engineering, Cassani began his career with Sacmi in 1993, and has since gone on to expand his skills with a master's degree in business administration. He has previously held the positions of managing director at the Concorde Group and managing director of Ceramica Keope. From 2003 to 2006, he was managing director of the System Group. Eugenio Ferragina, who succeeded in transforming the Sacmi Whiteware division into a key player in world markets, will now put his experience at the disposal of the Negri Bossi Group (the Sacmi Group company quoted on the Star segment of the Italian Stock Exchange), where he has been managing director for about a year.
