The Saint-Gobain Abrasives Carborundum(R) brand has been designated a preferred brand by the IndustrialSupplyPlus(R) division of IBC. Carborundum offers a line of stock products that are distributed by the Saint-Gobain Abrasives distribution facilities in Plainfield, Ind., and Ontario, Calif. Carborundum products include coated, bonded and woven nylon abrasives used for stock removal, dimensioning, grinding, cutting, deburring, cleaning, blending, polishing and finishing, as well as other rough and precision application needs. "The Carborundum brand is known for quality and will be a good fit for the IBC membership. We are excited to add Carborundum to our premier list of preferred brands and look forward to partnering with Saint-Gobain Abrasives on our marketing programs," said Ed Sullivan, president of IBC.
