Scientific Dust Collectors recently announced a new addition to its dust collector series -- the SL-HR, a high ratio horizontal cartridge collector that features a patented cleaning system and patented internal inlet baffle. These features, along with a uniquely designed air plenum, allow the SL-HR to operate with standard round cartridges at much higher CFM volumes per cartridge than other collectors with the same size and number of round or oval cartridges. The unit's design leads to initial cost savings, due to a smaller collector with fewer cartridges. The SL-HR continues to pay back over its entire service life with fewer replacement cartridges to purchase, as well as less maintenance time to change out cartridges.
