CoorsTek, Inc. recently hosted a visit from Oregon Senator Ron Wyden.

CoorsTek, Inc. hosted a visit from Oregon Senator Ron Wyden on January 4. Senator Wyden toured the ceramic manufacturing facility, briefly met with CoorsTek officials, and held a town hall meeting for the employees of CoorsTek Oregon operations. On the tour, the Senator visited manufacturing cells for the facility’s top growth markets, including ceramic components for precision optics, semiconductor manufacturing, and body and vehicle armor protection. Several material-based technological innovations in these sectors have boosted demand for ceramic components.

“We are honored to have Senator Wyden visit our facility and thank him for his continued support of us and other high-technology businesses in Oregon,” said Mark Chenoweth, executive vice president for CoorsTek. “During the past 28 years, this location has supplied high-quality technical ceramics to many industries, including semiconductor, optical, paper production, aerospace and defense.”
