CoorsTek, Inc. hosted a visit from Oregon Senator Ron Wyden on January 4. Senator Wyden toured the ceramic manufacturing facility, briefly met with CoorsTek officials, and held a town hall meeting for the employees of CoorsTek Oregon operations. On the tour, the Senator visited manufacturing cells for the facility’s top growth markets, including ceramic components for precision optics, semiconductor manufacturing, and body and vehicle armor protection. Several material-based technological innovations in these sectors have boosted demand for ceramic components.
