SGCD's Webster Killed in Auto Accident

Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators (SGCD) board member William "Bill" Webster died February 21 in an automobile accident. He was a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor's of science degree in engineering. He was employed by Armstrong Industries for 12 years prior to joining Lenox China in 1996. He started his career with Lenox as whitewares manager and was promoted in 1999 to manager of decorating. As an SGCD board member, Webster served as session moderator for the show seminars, and he assumed the lead for fund raising activities for the SGCD Scholarship Fund.
