SGCD to Hold Special Meeting (posted 9/23/08)

The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators (SGCD) recently announced that its board of directors has called a special meeting for the purpose of changing its state of incorporation.

The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators (SGCD) recently announced that its board of directors has called a special meeting for October 29, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh, Pa., for the purpose of changing its state of incorporation. Two resolutions will be voted on:
  • The adoption of a resolution authorizing the board of directors to form an Ohio nonprofit corporation named “Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators.”
  • The adoption of a resolution to authorize the board of directors to merge the existing corporation into the newly formed Ohio nonprofit corporation.
A letter was recently mailed to SGCD members with a proxy that those who are unable to attend the meeting can return via mail or fax. For additional information, contact SGCD headquarters at (740) 588-9882.
