Because of the tragic events that took place in the U.S. on Tuesday, September 11, and the uncertainty of air travel being available to exhibitors and attendees, the board of directors of the Screenprinting & Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) has decided to cancel all activities associated with the SGIA 2001 convention and exhibition, which had been scheduled for September 19-22. SGIA will soon be sending additional information concerning any registration payments that may have been already made. If hotel reservations had been made through the show's Ambassadors Services Group housing services, those reservations have already been cancelled. Individually made airline, automobile and hotel reservations will need to be cancelled, however. SGIA '02 will be held October 30-November 2, 2002, at The America's Center in St. Louis, Mo. Additional details will be available next summer.

For more information, call (703) 385-1335, fax (703) 273-0469 or visit http://www.sgia.org.
