Sherwin is responsible for managing key client accounts and establishing strategic business plans to identify and attract new clients.

Eurotherm recently announced that Peter Sherwin has been appointed business development manager (BDM), Heat Treatment. In this role, Sherwin is responsible for managing key client accounts, establishing strategic business plans to identify and attract new clients, and achieving sales targets within the heat treatment industry.

Sherwin brings extensive experience in heat treatment to his position with Eurotherm. He transitions to his new role from the company’s office in India, where he has supported Vinod Sharma (BDM for Heat Treatment) since July 2008. Sherwin started his career with Renold Chain and moved onto Unipart Industries to manage heat treatment projects for Honda, Mercedes and JCB. He then spent 10 years with TTI Group (the UK arm of Aalberts Industries), heading contract heat treatment operations in both the Luton and Birmingham Plants. More recently, he served as the vice president of Heat Treatment for Hightemp Furnaces (India), where he oversaw operations across five heat treatment sites before becoming vice president of Business Development earlier this year.

A chartered engineer and member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining, Sherwin holds a degree in materials engineering from The University of Nottingham and a master’s of business administration degree from Henley Management College in London.
