Fideris Inc. and HTceramix SA recently demonstrated a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) research and development platform at the Hannover Fair in Hannover, Germany. The platform will be marketed to SOFC researchers and industrial labs preparing to enter the SOFC market. SOFC systems are highly efficient and have significant promise in highly profitable markets; however, the high temperatures needed to run the systems have made testing and validation difficult. The turnkey system demonstrated by Fideris and HTceramix will allow researchers to install an SOFC system in approximately four hours. The unit demonstrated includes an HTc 5-cell SOFC fuel cell stack and a Fideris test system.

Fideris can be contacted at (41) 44445-1950, fax (41) 44445-1951, e-mail pankaj.agarwal@fideris.com or online at http://www.fideris.com. To reach HTceramix, call (41) 24426-1084, fax (41) 24426-1082, e-mail sales@htceramix.ch or visit http://www.htceramix.ch.
