Solvay Chemicals Forms New Product Group

Solvay Chemicals, Inc. has formed the SOLVAir(TM) Products group, a portfolio of chemicals and technologies that can be used to combat industrial pollutants. Products include INTEROX(R) hydrogen peroxide, T-50(R) and T-200(R) Trona, soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, and sodium sulfite. SOLVAir products specifically help remove SOx, NOx, HCl, HF and heavy metals such as mercury from flue gas emissions. "Compliance with the Clean Air Act demands innovative applications from a knowledgeable source," said Mike Wood, business manager for Sulfite and Trona. "Solvay Chemicals has the history, the products and the technological know-how that makes the SOLVAir group so effective. Forming a portfolio enables the customer to more easily determine which product would best suit his or her needs." For more information, visit http://www.solvaychemicals.us/solvair.
