The American Craft Council Show will take place in Baltimore, Md., in February 2011.

Plenty of handmade novelties and show highlights will be on hand at the 35th annual American Craft Council Show February 24-27, 2011. The event will feature the creations of more than 700 contemporary artisans from across the nation. All of the artists were selected for participation in the event after an extensive judging process.

For the 2011 show, the council has expanded previous exhibits to encompass even more craft categories. Some of these categories include eco-friendly greencraft, handmade items under $100, garden furniture and accessories, and student work from the California College of the Arts. In addition, craft artists who use new, alternative techniques in their creative processes will have a special display area at the show. A demo stage will allow for authentic demonstrations through the duration of the weekend.

Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase single-day tickets for $15, two-day passes for $25, and three-day passes for $30. There will also be a special deal for Friday, February 25: entry to the show will only cost $6 after 6 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets online, visit www.craftcouncil.org/baltimore.
