Southern Clay Products (SCP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Specialties Inc., has consolidated its channels to market, aligning itself with leading regional specialty chemical distributors in the U.S. Fitz Chem Corp. will represent SCP in the Chicago and Midwest areas; Ribelin Sales, Inc. has been awarded the Southwest region; and Palmer/Holland will extend its current responsibilities to include the state of Michigan. "We are in the enviable position of being able to choose partners who are not just distributors, but are leaders in our industry," states Don Poucher, vice president, Sales & Marketing. "We now have eight distributors serving the U.S. industrial market, compared with 15 just three years ago. The importance of having superior channels to market cannot be overestimated."
