A disposable rotary drum filter from Steadfast Equipment can produce equivalent output to traditional batch separation techniques at a lower cost and in less space than older, traditional methods using centrifuges or batch filtration equipment. The patented filter is 6 in. in diameter by 7 in. long, and has a complete shipping weight of 2 lbs. As a continuous operating device, the disposable rotary drum filter can be a much smaller piece of equipment than a batch device. Test rates showed slurry processing rates of 1-3 liters per minute, and a batch processing capacity of 900 liters if continuously operated for an eight-hour period.
